The vision behind fabbster is to give people an opportunity at hand,
to implement their own ideas quickly and easily into 3-dimensional objects.

Because only a few generations ago, production looked like this: You were in need of a part,
so you just grabbed your tool and made the object. Clothing, shoes, utensils, or replacement parts.
Everything was just made by the person, who needed it....it's as simple as that.

But this has changed with the beginning of the industrial revolution and the emerging mass production.
Meanwhile, we are used to go to the store and buy what we need.
Therefore, we just get what the industry has to offers us: mass-produced,
pre-assembled, packaged, standardized. Because mass production is more
cost-effective than the production of individual pieces.

The principle of 3D printing has been around since the late 80s. But the astronomical
prices for equipment and materials prevented the use of this technology outside factory buildings.
fabbster has set out to change that. fabbster is going to be one of THE tool of modern times;
A "carving knife" of modern age, so to speak.

By making additive manufacturing available for the masses, we want to promote a new industrial revolution:
Our vision of the future is a 3D printer in every home. Just as todays "normal" printers
have found their way into offices and homes, fabbster & Co. will conquer our everyday life in the future.
So production will be shifting back from the factories to private garages and workshops.
